I am moving sexuality from the margins to the center.
Sexuality rarely comes up in conversations about personal development – yet, like any other developmental topic, it belongs right at the heart of it. I am committed to changing this and ensuring it gets its rightful place. Not as an exception or an extra, but as an ability to enjoy life, to express oneself, and to connect with others. An ability that every person has the right to claim for themselves.
I bring this conviction to my work today as a sex therapist, couples counselor, and hypnotherapist. Whether it's about one's own desire, or about what's no longer flowing in a relationship.
Enjoyable sex can be learned – throughout a lifetime.
I want to create a space where it is natural to talk openly about sexuality and one's own desires, to accept one's own body and treat it with love, to engage in intimacy in an uninhibited and curious way, and to understand and control one's own arousal.
Every person can learn to experience sexuality free from shame, societal expectations and conventions – and find joy in it throughout their life.

My path
Today I am a self-employed sexologist, couples counselor, and hypnotherapist, and I co-lead the Strategy & Business Innovation cluster at the IAP, the Institute of Applied Psychology at the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences). But my journey began long before that.

Even during my time at RWTH Aachen University, I was fascinated by the question of why some people fully develop their resources while others' remain untapped. This interest led me to research and teaching in the areas of gender studies, identity, motivation, and innovation. Here, I was able to delve deeply into behavioral and motivational psychological phenomena, conduct my own studies, and publish my findings.
From the question of why potential remains untapped to the question of why sexuality is so often overlooked: My passion for human development extended beyond research. I realized how central sexuality is to our well-being. So I followed this passion and studied sexology to support people in this sensitive yet fundamental area of life.
Since May 2022, I have been working in my own practice as a sexologist, couples counselor, and supporting people on their journey to more intimacy, self-acceptance, and joy in life.
